This car was the first U.S. spec Koengisegg delivered to a U.S. customer. It spent the first part of its life in Arizona, where it was often spotted. Beginning in 2010 it was erroneously listed for sale by Ferrari of Scottsdale; the car remains with its original owner. This CCX has recieved factory upgrades that have raised its power output significantly.

Interior
Black leather, with black alcantara seat inserts and dashboard covering. Black leather covered center console section. U.S. mandated passenger airbag.

Trivia
One of three U.S. spec black CCX's, #044 can easily be distinguished from the other two. This car has dark silver Dymag wheels, whereas #046 has the bright silver nine spoke wheels. In addition, this car has a dark silver rear section and model call-out side panels, whereas on #048 these are black.
One additional black CCX has been spotted in the U.S. in the past, which was #043 after a repaint., before it became a CCXS/CCXRS. In these photos you can see the distinctive lighter grey shade of #043's rear center section and model call-out side panels, which clearly distinguish it from the others.
